MP1590B/MP1591A Network Performance Tester
Frequency Range: (Less than 10.7 Gbit/s, PDH/DSn, SDH/SONET, OTN, Jitter)

The MP1590B Network Performance Tester is a measuring instrument capable of measuring IP networks up to 10 GbE, as well as traditional functions including testing of PDH, DSn, SDH/SONET, and OTN equipment and jitter measurement, with only one box. A new EoS unit supports EoS measurement, virtual concatenation, and LCAS measurement to enable testing of next-generation SDH/SONET equipment. The MP1590B can perform some simultaneous applications -- such as SDH/SONET, OTN, EoS, jitter, and Ethernet measurement -- using a combination of plug-in modules.

The MP1591A provides an all-in-one, large capacity chassis for diversified networks with both line (SONET/SDH/OTN) and client (Ethernet) sides.  The multi-slot MP1591A is the ideal solution when working with increasingly common multi-port equipment. The unit has expansion slots for up to 16 interface modules and installing the 10GbE interface module supports both LAN and WAN-PHY measurements. (High capacity example: 128 ports for 10/100/1000 BASE-T)
